It’s probably a bit of a cliche, but I started in the advertising industry, working in above and below-the-line agencies in Africa and Dubai. I have worked on brands such as SC Johnson Wax, Vodacom, Toyota, Budget-Rent-a-Car, Dimension Data, Panasonic, the Automobile Association, New Zealand Milk, Samsung, Gerber Baby Food, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Carlsberg Beer, and Mercedes Benz.
I naturally progressed to photography after picking up a camera while I was in a bit of a bind to get some pics done for a client, and there was not a photographer available for weeks. A few basic product shots became regular shoots for clients, ranging from ad campaigns to headshots, and corporate work.
I have shot for Adcock Ingram, Afrox, A-Gas, Aranda Blankets, Bestfence, BMW, Goldwell, Homemakers Fair, The Linde Group, Milinium Roller Doors, Patio Warehouse, and Welding Alloys. I often shoot test shots in my studio, trying out new ideas, and keeping my portfolio up-to-date.
